The joy of the wedding turned into deep sorrow in the Minya governorate (Upper Egypt), after the death of a newly married couple in a tragic accident that shook the family and the villagers.
A family member told local Egyptian media that the house has been in total collapse since the accident, as the morning joy filled with delight turned into intense silence and pain, after the husband, Adel N., died on the morning of his wedding day at their marital home due to suffocation from a gas leak, followed by his wife, Tahani S., hours later in the hospital, after doctors attempted to save her life but she passed away, doubling the tragedy in a single day.
Local sources explained that the incident caused a great shock in the village, where no one expected that a day of celebration would turn into a day of mourning so quickly, highlighting the fragility of life and its sudden changes.
