Khaberni - The technical staff of the national team, led by coach Jamal Salami, announced the final Al-Nashama list for participation in the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, held from December 1-18 in Doha, Qatar.
The list includes (23) players: Yazid Abu Layla, Noor Bani Atiyeh, Malik Shelbayeh, Abdullah Naseeb, Saad Al-Rawsan, Saleem Obeid, Hossam Abu Zahab, Ali Hijbi, Hadi Al-Hourani, Issam Al-Sameri, Adham Al-Quraishi, Rajai Ayed, Amer Jamoos, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Sa'adeh, Mohammad Abu Hoshish, Mohannad Abu Taha, Ouda Al-Fakhouri, Ahmad Arsane, Mahmoud Murdi, Mohammad Abu Zureiq, Ali Alouan, and Yazan Al-Naimat.
The national team is expected to resume its preparations tomorrow, Saturday, November 22, in Amman, while the Al-Nashama delegation will depart to Doha, Qatar, on Saturday afternoon, November 29.
Al-Nashama will start their participation in the tournament by facing the UAE at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, at Al-Bayt Stadium, then will meet the winner of the Kuwait and Mauritania match at 2:00 PM on Saturday 6, at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, and conclude the first round of competitions by facing Egypt at 5:30 PM on Tuesday 9, at Al-Bayt Stadium.
It is notable that the national team is participating in its tenth instance of the Arab Cup; since its first appearance in the inaugural edition in 1963 in Lebanon، Al-Nashama, having participated in all editions of the tournament, holds the record for most participations among Arab teams.
Al-Nashama had secured its qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026 finals for the first time in its history, thus becoming the first Arab team to ensure its spot in the World Cup.
