Khaberni - Heidy Nabil Fawzi, the granddaughter of the late Egyptian composer and artist Mohamed Fawzi, revealed the truth about the recent claims surrounding young singer Kareem Haw, who appeared on "The Voice" claiming to be the late star's grandson.

Heidy Nabil Fawzi, in exclusive comments to "24", said that the family was surprised by what was circulated on social media about someone claimed to be Mohamed Fouzi's grandson participating in the program, confirming that this information is completely untrue, and that Kareem Haw has no relation to the family.

She added: "The rumors of his relation to the family are completely false, Kareem Haw has no familial ties to Mohamed Fouzi's family", noting that she is currently trying to contact the officials at "The Voice" program and MBC channel to officially deny these claims before taking any possible legal actions.
In this context, Heidy Nabil Fawzi posted on her official Facebook account a post calling for the correction of the circulated information, and confirmed that she is trying to contact the management of MBC The Voice to put an end to what she described as misinformation.

The beginning of the crisis

The fourth episode of the sixth season of "The Voice" saw wide controversy, following the appearance of the young singer Kareem Haw, who was introduced as the grandson of the late composer Mohamed Fawzi, which astonished both the judges and the audience alike, especially because of the clear resemblance between him and the late artist in features and performance style.
During the episode, Kareem Haw took the stage and performed a piece of the song "Ah Law La'abt Ya Zahr" by the popular singer Ahmed Sheba, in a performance that caught the judges' eyes, prompting them to compete to include him in their teams.
Despite artist Rahma Riyadh's attempt to use the "Super Block" feature, Kareem Haw cleverly avoided it, eventually announcing his joining the team of artist Ahmed Saad.

After his performance ended, Ahmed Saad noticed the great resemblance between him and the late artist Mohamed Fawzi, and asked him about the nature of their relationship, to which Kareem Haw confirmed that Mohamed Fawzi is his grandfather's cousin, which sparked wide reactions within the panel.

Both Rahma Riyadh and Nassif Zeytoun expressed their admiration for the young man's voice and performance, considering that he has the potential to become a global artist in the future.

For his part, Ahmed Saad emphasized that talent is not linked to time or age, pointing to his long experience in discovering voices before entering the world of coaching in the program, stressing that a distinctive voice and artistic sensation are crucial factors in evaluating any talent.
