Khaberni - The Minister of Transport, Dr. Nidal Al-Qatamin, hosted the Mexican Ambassador to Jordan, Jacobo Prado Gonzalez, in his office, where the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in various transport fields were discussed, along with ways to develop bilateral relations to serve mutual interests.
Both parties emphasized the necessity of completing the required procedures by both sides to sign the special agreement regarding air services between Jordan and Mexico, which would enhance tourism movement and facilitate direct flights between Amman and Mexico City.
During the meeting, Al-Qatamin emphasized the Transport Ministry's determination to expand cooperation areas with Mexico, noting that the relations binding the two countries provide a solid foundation for further joint cooperation in the transport fields, reaffirming the ministry’s support for all initiatives that contribute to enhancing the interests of the two friendly countries.
The Ambassador Gonzalez expressed his country's appreciation for the good relations connecting Mexico with Jordan, pointing out his country's readiness to work jointly to enhance these relations, and support efforts aimed at developing the transport sector and opening new prospects for economic and tourism cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination and overcoming challenges to achieve desired goals, while looking forward to more cooperation in the upcoming phase.
