Khaberni - This morning, a lost gold piece (an earring) was found in the area of the Obelisk Tomb and on the horse trail inside the archaeological site in the city of Petra, southern Jordan.
Upon its discovery, the citizen Mohammed Abdullah Al-Nawafleh (Abu Tariq) handed over the piece to the head of the Camel Riders Association, who immediately contacted Imad Al-Hilalat, the director of the Petra Visitors Center, where necessary actions were taken and the piece was handed to the concerned tourist.
The tourist, coming from the United States and Mexico, expressed her great thanks and appreciation through a written message, praising the high level of service and cooperation she received from the equestrian staff and the visitor center, and commending the safety and organization within the tourist site.
This incident serves to reaffirm the high ethical standards and sense of responsibility that the people of Petra possess, and their ongoing commitment to the comfort of visitors and the protection of their possessions.
