Press reports indicate that according to the presidential decree, the ban does not include the official delegations participating in major tournaments such as players, coaches, technical staff, and support workers, but it restricts the entry of most fans coming from the countries listed in the ban, including Haiti and Iran, which could hinder the arrival of thousands of fans of the two teams to American soil. According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", the current decree could actually cause significant difficulties for fans of Haiti and Iran who wish to accompany their teams during the World Cup, despite allowing official delegations to participate. The newspaper adds that the decision raises questions about how "FIFA" will handle the restrictions imposed on the fans of qualified teams, in a tournament that for the first time hosts 48 teams, while the draw for the group stage is expected to be held on December 5th in Washington.
