Khaberni - In a striking event that reflects the depth of marital connection, a man from Menoufia province carved a statue of his wife inside their apartment, embodying the finest details of her face which he has contemplated "year after year". The work, which took several months to complete, was presented by the husband as a gift on her birthday as an expression of his appreciation for her, immortalizing a story of love and loyalty that is anything but conventional.
The husband confirmed in statements to the Egyptian media that he carefully observed the movement of sunlight and its alignment on the walls of the house, until he was able to determine the optimal point to place the statue, so that the sun's rays align exactly on the right eye of the statue on her birthday, November 19 (November) every year for only one minute. The husband made this day a unique occasion he called "Festival of Light," to be an annual reminder of the beginning of their shared journey.
The Statue
The husband proudly says he wanted to prove that Egyptians "are still capable of creativity like their ancient ancestors," who built great monuments that align with the sun with stunning scientific precision, and thus he decided to present his wife with a statue of her in a scene that blends love with ancient Egyptian heritage.
Although the idea does not involve grand manifestations or celebrations, it reflects genuine interest and personal details that express a relationship filled with affection and respect. Some praised the idea and considered it a tender and cost-effective love message that reflects the husband's appreciation for his wife with a beautiful artistic touch, while others saw that what the husband did shows a side of "the creativity of the ancient Egyptians" even in the details of their everyday lives.
