Khaberni - French police arrested the famous rap star Zola after he was accused of participating in a kidnapping and torture incident targeting one of his fans.
The authorities managed to stop the 26-year-old artist and three of his associates in the town of "Le Plessis" in the "Seine-et-Marne" region after a large security operation involving about forty elements.
Investigations reported that the incident occurred on the evening of November 6th, when the 19-year-old young man went to Zola's house hoping to take a commemorative photo with him.
According to the victim's story, the meeting turned into a street chase when the young man tried to escape after seeing the violent group accompanying his favorite star, before being forcibly led inside the house, where he was subjected to hours of physical and psychological assaults, including severe beating, being forced to strip off his clothes and burn them, and threats using a firearm, with shots fired close to him on the lower floor to terrorize him.
The newspaper "The Sun" added that the assailants confiscated his phone and bank card, and destroyed his car by puncturing the tires and smashing the mirrors, threatening him with death if he reported to the police.
The victim later turned to his relatives who informed the authorities, leading to the launch of the security campaign that resulted in the arrest of Zola and his associates.
The accused face charges that include illegal detention, severe violence, theft within an organized gang, and possession of unlicensed weapons, while investigations are still underway to uncover the full circumstances of the incident and determine the legal responsibilities.
