Khaberni - Traffic management operations officers confirmed that (800) thousand vehicles have undergone technical inspection during the winter campaign so far, with (709) thousand vehicles having successfully passed the inspection, which indicates the citizens' continuous attention and monitoring of their vehicles to maintain their safety and the safety of other road users.
A traffic operations officer stated in his talk to the Public Security radio that the most common technical malfunctions observed during the winter campaign implemented by the traffic departments in addition to the Royal Environmental Protection Department are various lighting malfunctions (front lights, reverse lights, and indicators) as well as windshield wipers, noting that the campaign will initially continue until the end of this month, with the possibility of extension if necessary.
He pointed out that the technical malfunction indicator will remain on the vehicle's traffic record until it is repaired and reviewed by one of the traffic departments, the external patrols, or the licensing including evening licensing, to remove this indicator from the vehicle even if the period exceeds seven days.
