Khaberni - Exclusive

Khaberni website tracked a table shared by the Minister of Finance Abdul Hakim Al-Shibli, which shows the borrowing volume for each government in Jordan, illustrating the debt amount since the beginning of the government's term and the debt at the end of the same term.
The table revealed that the government of Bisher Al-Khasawneh had the highest borrowing during the 1434 days of its term, with a borrowing rate of 7.88 million Jordanian Dinars per day.
Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour ranked second with a borrowing amount of 7.44 billion Dinars and a daily borrowing rate of 5.6 million Dinars during his 1326-day tenure.
According to Khaberni's monitoring and analysis of Al-Shibli's figures, the late Fayez Al-Tarawneh’s government, which had the shortest term among governments at 161 days, also had the highest daily borrowing rate of 12.23 million Dinars per day, as per Khaberni.
Following Al-Tarawneh’s government in terms of daily borrowing rate was the government of Awn Al-Khasawneh, with a rate of 11.38 million Dinars during its 185-day term as revealed by Khaberni.
According to Khaberni, Faisal Al-Fayez’s government was the only one where debt decreased by approximately 100 million Dinars during its 528 days in office.
Abdul Raouf Al-Rawabdeh’s government had the least borrowing, with 285 million Dinars over 472 days, according to Khaberni’s report.
