Khaberni - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas strongly condemned the horrific massacre committed by the occupation in the cities of Gaza and Khan Yunis on Wednesday, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 25 martyrs from the Palestinian people, including children and women.
The movement considered the aggression a "serious escalation" through which war criminal Netanyahu seeks to "resume genocide against our people".
The movement strongly rejected Zionist claims about their forces being under fire, considering them a "futile and exposed attempt to justify its crimes and ongoing violations".
In its statement, Hamas revealed that more than 300 martyrs have ascended since the ceasefire agreement was signed, noting that the policy of demolishing houses and closing the Rafah land crossing continued, in "a blatant Israeli challenge to the American and regional guarantees".
The movement made an urgent demand to the U.S. administration, asking it "to fulfill its declared commitments and to immediately and seriously pressure to restrain the Israeli occupation, and force it to respect the ceasefire and stop the aggression against our people".
Hamas also appealed to the mediators in Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, as guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, to "fulfill their commitments, and compel the criminal occupation to immediately put an end to its breaches that threaten the ceasefire process".
The statement emphasizes that the continuation of crimes undermines the ceasefire agreement from its roots, and places the international community and mediators in direct responsibility to fulfill their commitments and address the explosive humanitarian and security situation in the Gaza Strip.
