Khaberni - U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said on Wednesday that uranium enrichment is not part of the agreement concerning civil nuclear power that was reached with Saudi Arabia.
Wright added: "It's about the civilian use of nuclear power, and it's not about enrichment. It doesn't concern anything related to weapons. It's solely about generating electricity, electricity that is safe, reliable, and affordable."
He mentioned that the agreement involves building a major nuclear power station in Saudi Arabia, which is one of several agreements announced during the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Washington.
