Khaberni - Settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
The Jerusalem governorate reported that hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups from the Moroccan Gate, conducted provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have tightened their measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.
In the same context, for the first time, extremist "Temple" groups called for a wide-scale raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday morning, on the occasion of what is called "Sijed" holiday, which coincides this year with the beginning of the new Hebrew month.
These calls come as part of continuous efforts by extremist groups to exploit Jewish religious occasions to increase the frequency of raids.
