Khaberni - The Party Activities Division in the Dean of Students Office at Middle East University, in collaboration with the student clubs, implemented the activities of the second Community Giving Day, as part of the university's efforts aimed at enhancing the values of volunteering and social responsibility among its students, through their participation in programs and activities that serve the local community and develop the values of cooperation, giving, and humanitarian work.

The organization of the event aimed to instill the concept of national belonging and social responsibility among students, and to encourage them to actively participate in volunteering and humanitarian activities. The initiative also focused on honing leadership skills, teamwork, and communication, and raising awareness about the institutions operating in the community and youth sector, thereby broadening their field experiences.

The Community Giving Day was attended by 33 local entities, represented by government and civic youth institutions and volunteer associations, most notably: The Torch Club for the Blind, the Institute for Policy and Society, the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, the Hashemite Fund for the Development of the Badia, the Al Hassan Youth Award, the “We” platform affiliated with Crown Prince Foundation, the Justice Center for Legal Aid, All Jordan Youth Commission, the Charitable Clothing Bank, Zaha Cultural Center, the Jordan Red Crescent, King Hussein Cancer Foundation, Save the Child Organization, Generations For Peace, in addition to the "My School" initiative.

92 male and female students participated in the event, engaging in a variety of activities throughout the day. Three student initiatives from the university also took part in implementing the activities, namely: Athar Initiative, IEEE MEU Students Branch, and Bader Application Team, reflecting the pioneering role of students in volunteer work inside and outside the campus.

In turn, the Dean of Students Office affirmed the university's continued support for community initiatives, believing in their role in building effective communication bridges with the local community, and enhancing the culture of volunteering among students, in line with the university's vision to prepare a qualified generation that contributes to the service and development of the community.
