Khaberni - As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance a healthy and balanced work environment, ABC Bank in Jordan held a training workshop titled "Mental Health in the Workplace," which aimed to highlight the importance of mental health in the workplace, and encourage employees to express their feelings and face psychological challenges in a positive and safe manner.
The workshop covered a range of awareness topics, including recognizing signs of psychological stress, mechanisms to deal with it, the importance of mutual psychological support among colleagues, in addition to the role of institutions in providing a supportive environment for mental health. The workshop was presented by a group of experts in the field of mental health, who shared practical experiences and scientific advice to help employees enhance their psychological well-being and improve the quality of their professional lives.
In this context, His Excellency Mr. George Farah Sofia - General Manager of ABC Bank in Jordan, said: "We believe that mental health is no less important than physical health, and we aim through this workshop to create a work environment where everyone feels safe and supported. Investing in employee well-being is an investment in the success of the institution."
This initiative is part of a series of activities carried out by the bank to enhance awareness of mental health and provide the necessary support to employees at all levels.
