Arab Amman Educational participates in the events of the eleventh international scientific conference on sustainable developme

Khaberni - The College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Arab Amman University participated in the eleventh international scientific conference organized by the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Yarmouk University in collaboration with the Jordan Scholars League under the title: "Sustainable development and its applications from a Sharia perspective", represented by Dr. Naseeba Al-Sawwa, Head of the Department of Administration, Curricula and Teaching Methods, with the participation of a group of researchers and experts from various universities and academic institutions.

During the conference, Dr. Al-Sawwa presented a specialized research paper titled: "Sharia Judiciary and the Protection of the Right to Education in the Light of Sustainable Development Goals: A Legal Applied Study", which discussed the legal and legislative framework regulating the work of the Sharia judiciary in Jordan, and its role in promoting and protecting the right to education as a fundamental right stipulated by international conventions and emphasized by the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030. Additionally, Al-Sawwa reviewed several related judicial applications, highlighting the impact of the Sharia judiciary in ensuring educational opportunity equality and achieving justice for the most needy and protected groups.

It is noted that the conference included a wide range of scientific sessions and workshops addressing issues of the Quran, Sunnah and sustainable development, green economy, Islamic financing, and the role of educational institutions in supporting the national developmental agenda, concluded with the reading of recommendations and honoring of the conference committees.
