Khaberni - Many football fans believe they have seen all that is odd and bizarre in the world of the game, but a team from Spain confirms that there are no limits to oddity or logic in the beautiful game.

The discussion here is about a team named "Noname FC" founded in 2023 in the province of Zamora, located in western Spain, currently participating in one of the amateur leagues.

The Weirdest Football Team in the World

The club does not carry an actual name and its emblem on the shirt is a question mark, and is currently competing in the first regional amateur division of Castile and Leon, after climbing from the lowest ranks of local football in Spain.

He added, "So far we have launched only one package and will soon issue another that will form an essential part of the club's ownership. Our goal is to get as many people as possible involved in this project and to have an active role in making strategic decisions."

Gago continued, "The project is still in its early stages and will gradually evolve. We have the name Noname (no name) and an open-design logo because it is a strategic decision that will be made in the future by the holders as the club's own identity forms."

The Team's Shirt Designed by a Child

The team's primary shirt is gray, and the club received more than 40 design proposals, with the final choice being a design by an 8-year-old girl.

The design and colors of the reserve shirt were chosen from a poll on platform X, and they match the colors of the province's flag.

The Team's Stadium and its Leader

Team "Noname" plays its matches at Anexos del Ruta de la Plata Stadium (affiliated with Club Zamora CF), with free admission to its games.

About this, Gago said, "We want people to get to know us. True that youth are more receptive to us because our social media marketing campaigns are very effective, but we have noticed interest from older people as well."

The team captain is Sergio Garcia, who is one of the most prominent former players in the second division, having played over 300 matches in it.

Garcia has played for teams like Real Oviedo, Cartagena, Real Avilés, and UD Salamanca, and previously participated in the top division with Real Valladolid and represented Spain's U19 national team.

Garcia (36 years old) is one of the key contributors to the team's sports success, having scored 76 goals in 58 matches in the provincial league.

The Ambition: Leaving the Amateur World

"Noname" did not start the current season in the best possible way, but the latest victory—the second in the league so far—helped the team move out of the relegation zone.

Gago said, "Our short-term goal is to leave the amateur world and reach the semi-professional national level. Of course, this depends on the sports results, but we are working hard to reach the third division as soon as possible."
