Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in the strongest terms the abhorrent and unacceptable incendiary statements made by the extremist Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, which call for targeting the Palestinian leadership; a blatant violation and clear threat to the leadership of the Palestinian people, and an unacceptable direct incitement, along with his condemned statements regarding the rejection of the establishment of the Palestinian state, which undermines the efforts toward a two-state solution.
The ministry's spokesperson, Fouad Al-Majali, affirmed the kingdom's condemnation and absolute rejection of the ongoing racist and incendiary statements by ministers and officials of the extreme Israeli government against the Palestinian people and their leadership, in conjunction with the dangerous escalation measures in the occupied West Bank, and the continuous tightening on the Palestinian people and the siege of its economy.
Al-Majali warned of the consequences of these measures, which portend further explosions of the situation, threatening the security and stability of the region.
Al-Majali urged the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to stop its dangerous escalation in the occupied West Bank and the racist statements of its officials, and meet the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent sovereign state on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital; the only way to achieve just and comprehensive peace that ensures security and stability in the region.
