150 stitches to the face The killing of a university student by an unemployed man in Egypt

Khaberni - The Egyptian capital, Cairo, witnessed a horrifying crime, after a university student died from his severe injuries following an attack with a white weapon in the Hada'iq al-Qubbah area.

According to security sources, the student was suddenly attacked by an unemployed person due to previous disputes, resulting in severe facial injuries that required about 150 stitches before he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Security forces received a report that the student was severely assaulted with a sharp "cutter" tool, where the suspect ambushed him and inflicted stabs and deep cut wounds before fleeing the scene of the incident.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim's health deteriorated quickly due to the depth of the injuries, despite attempts to provide medical aid over two days, later resulting in the announcement of his death from his wounds.

Following the death, the body was transferred to the morgue under the disposal of the investigative authorities, who listened to the statements of witnesses and the victim's family members.

Security forces managed to apprehend the suspect and took legal actions against him.

The public prosecution continues to investigate the circumstances and motives of the crime.
