Jordan A painful theft incident of an elderly pilgrim in front of an oil press in Amman

Khaberni - In a sad scene reflecting the exploitation of some weak-souled individuals' trust and simplicity, an elderly Jordanian pilgrim in the capital Amman was robbed of an "oil can" he had taken out from one of the presses, in an incident recorded by surveillance cameras and circulated on social media.

According to the account of the Jordanian pilgrim's son, Khaberni, his father had just finished filling the oil at the press, and while he was getting into his vehicle, he had trouble opening the door, so he asked for help from two young men who were present at the site.
In a moment of distraction, one of them tried to divert the pilgrim's attention at the door, while the other took the opportunity to grab the "oil can" and flee with it towards a vehicle that was waiting for them near the press.

The pilgrim's son confirmed in an explanatory video, Khaberni, that the purpose of sharing the story is to alert the elderly and visitors to the oil presses to be cautious and not to trust easily, especially in light of the repetition of such fraudulent methods.

A formal complaint was filed with the security agencies, Khaberni, which began investigating the incident to track down the perpetrators and take legal actions against them.
