Khaberni - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met on Monday in the historical area of Umm el-Jimal with several women from the Mafraq Governorate who represent the social, cultural, and educational sectors, and hosted a lunch for them.
Her Majesty expressed her happiness with this meeting, emphasizing the importance of personal interaction amidst changes in communication styles, where the majority now relies on modern communication means.
She added, "I feel that the personal meeting has another flavor among you in this beautiful place – Umm el-Jimal – which reminds us that human impact does not stop at any time or place, but remains a history passed down through generations."
Her Majesty praised the attendees, their roles, and their achievements in their communities. She expressed her wishes that, God willing, they always meet in wellbeing and that their country remains prosperous with its kind-hearted people who are always supportive of one another.
The Governor of Mafraq, Firas Abu Ghannam, welcomed Her Majesty among her people in Mafraq and expressed the happiness of the people of Mafraq with this visit, thanking her for the impact that her activities and initiatives have on local communities across the kingdom.
