The Cabinet announces substantial modifications to the 1995 Teachers Clubs system to enhance their role and services

Khaberni - The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate of Teachers' Clubs, has announced the endorsement of substantial amendments to the amended system of the Teachers' Clubs for the year 1995. These amendments aim at developing the clubs and enhancing their role in serving teachers and teachers throughout the Kingdom, and improving the level of care provided to them.

The amendments included the creation of a committee to manage the affairs of the Teachers' Clubs, chaired by the Secretary-General for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education, to ensure effective supervision and unify efforts. The new system also stipulates that the head of the administrative body for each club and six members be appointed by a decree from the Minister of Education, which enhances institutional oversight and ensures management efficiency.

Additionally, one of the prominent updates is the establishment of a new social solidarity fund within the Teachers' Clubs, where the ministry will issue regulations governing its operation to ensure maximum support for teachers in various circumstances. To enhance benefits and expand the range of services, a "Clubs Trust" account will be established at the Ministry of Education to contribute to financing activities and expanding the services provided.

The revised system also aims to expand service provision and diversify partnerships with the public and private sectors, in addition to directing support from both sectors to enhance the role of the clubs in supporting Jordanian teachers. In the context of enhancing the role of the ministry, it will directly supervise the establishment of the clubs, provide establishment requirements and spending within the general budget, in addition to monitoring the clubs' activities and events to serve all teachers in various regions of the kingdom. The clubs will undertake construction, maintenance, and operation of their facilities based on professional principles that directly benefit the teachers.

In the context of expanding the beneficiary base and deepening affiliation, a unified symbolic membership fee has been established to include active teachers, retired teachers, and private sector teachers.

These amendments affirm the commitment of the Ministry of Education to support teachers and improve the level of services provided to them, which positively reflects on the entire educational process in the kingdom.
