In his speech, Mukhallati denied the rumors about belonging to the Druze sect, saying: I have many friends and brothers from the Druze community, with whom I share bread, salt, and unforgettable brotherly bonds, but they are only brotherly bonds. For clarification, I come from a Sunni Muslim family from Damascus.

 

Owais Mukhallati reveals the reasons that led him to embrace Christianity

Mukhallati disclosed that his decision to embrace Christianity was a personal and fundamental choice in his life, explaining that the beginnings of this path started from his childhood, stating: Since childhood, I received spiritual signs that prompted me to explore religions to find the truth. The story began when I was eight or nine years old, as I felt deep comfort and peace when drawing the cross on my school notebooks.

He added: My classmates would ask me to draw a cross on small cards for them to wear on their wrists or around their necks, believing that the cross protects us all, and that the Virgin Mary illuminates our paths with the blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Owais Mukhallati faith is the love of God

The Syrian actor Owais Mukhallati explained that the essence of his faith is based on the love of God, adding: From a young age, I received divine signals that led me on the path of light and truth, until this path was crowned by my baptism a few days ago here in Nicaragua.

Regarding his decision to embrace Christianity, Mukhallati emphasized that it is entirely a personal matter, saying: It has no relation to my wife Michelle, her family, or anyone else. I received signals from the Lord Jesus Christ, He opened the door of light and truth for me, leading up to my baptism moment by the Cardinal in Nicaragua, attended by my family and my wife's family, thankfully.
