Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, President of Amman Arab University, the Student Affairs Deanship / Department of Student Activities organized the first football championship for university students for the academic school year 2025/2026 at the university stadium, amidst distinctive competitive atmosphere and high sportsmanship among the participating teams, with the involvement of eight faculties, namely: College of Pharmacy, Business School, College of Information Technology, College of Engineering, College of Aviation Sciences, College of Law, College of Sharia, and College of Arts and Sciences, where the matches were characterized by enthusiasm and challenge among the students.

The College of Pharmacy emerged victorious in the championship after excelling in the final match against the College of Information Technology, which placed second, where both colleges demonstrated remarkable performance reflecting the high sports level of the participating students. In the third and fourth place match, the Business School defeated the College of Sharia to take the third place, while the College of Sharia secured the fourth position after an excellent performance and high sportsmanship.

At the conclusion of the championship, Professor Dr. Hossam Al-Hamd, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, representing the university president, crowned the winning teams and honored the participating students in recognition of their discipline and distinguished sportsmanship. Individual awards were also distributed to those with outstanding performances, where student Yamen Ma'ali from the College of Pharmacy won the top scorer award, while student Amin Badarne from the Business School received the best player award for his high technical skills and sportsmanship.

This championship is part of the vision of the Student Affairs Deanship / Department of Student Activities aimed at promoting the culture of physical and sports activity among students and encouraging them to engage in sports as a means to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and institutional belonging, which positively reflects on their physical and psychological health. The event concluded amidst festive atmospheres that embodied the spirit of one family at Amman Arab University, which continues to support the various student activities contributing to building a balanced and complete personality for its students.
