Arab Amman University Holds Interactive Meeting with Its Students

Khaberni - The Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Arab Amman University organized an interactive meeting via the Zoom application, gathering Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, the Dean of the Faculty, and the heads of the academic departments with undergraduate and graduate students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Eid welcomed the students, emphasizing the importance of these meetings in enhancing constructive dialogue between the students and the faculty staff, due to their role in establishing their relationship with the faculty members. She also praised the substantial efforts made by the faculty in supporting the educational process, exchanging ideas, discussing student issues and their academic needs, and she highlighted the importance of students acquiring knowledge and diverse life skills and refining their personalities to be good representatives of the university in the local and international job market. Dr. Al-Eid provided a set of guidelines that contribute to enhancing the control of the educational process, most notably: adherence to the schedules of face-to-face and online lectures, compliance with the university's instructions regarding attendance and absence, serious interaction with the scientific material, and presenting innovative projects that reflect the student's seriousness in acquiring knowledge.

Dr. Al-Eid pointed out that the faculty is continuously working on updating the study plans and reviewing the course materials to align with recent developments, noting that the faculty members employ contemporary teaching strategies that comply with global educational methods. She also explained that improving the educational and learning environment inside and outside the classrooms and providing suitable conditions for obtaining high-quality distinguished education are priorities for both the university and the faculty, asserting the faculty's commitment to addressing various issues and challenges that may face students in this context.

The meeting included an open discussion that covered many issues and challenges faced by students during their academic journey, in addition to the students presenting a number of proposals related to educational and administrative services, extracurricular activities, and professional training and development opportunities that the faculty and university can provide to support their skills and prepare them for the future job market.

At the end of the meeting, the students expressed their appreciation for the faculty dean and her active role in following up on their issues and addressing them, valuing the continuous efforts made by Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, the Dean of the Faculty, in enhancing the spirit of dialogue and cooperation, contributing to supporting the university's vision and mission towards leadership and excellence.
