Khaberni - The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan halted his convoy during his visit to the city of Adiyaman to attend the inauguration of a housing project for the benefit of 350,000 earthquake victims, after noticing a 4-month-old infant cradled in his family’s arms.
A video clip showed Erdogan greeting the citizens who had lined up to welcome him enthusiastically, then he suddenly ordered the convoy to stop upon seeing the child Muhammad Fatih Karanfil, approaching the family himself, and taking the infant into his arms, playfully interacting with him.
Erdogan did not only interact with the child playfully, but also gifted him a gold coin as a symbol of blessing, a gesture that prompted applause from the audience, and he also distributed toys to the surrounding children.
