Khaberni - President Donald Trump will host Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House on November 18, during an official visit that will last several days and is his first in more than seven years.
The celebration includes a morning reception and an official dinner with military bands, bilateral meetings in the Oval Office, and the organization of a Saudi-American investment conference in Washington.
According to American and Arab media reports, it is scheduled to discuss defense and security cooperation agreements between the two countries, including new deals for purchasing American fighter jets and advanced missiles.
The agenda for the visit also includes discussions on Saudi-Israeli normalization, as part of the Abraham Accords, where Trump hopes to sign a peace agreement between the Kingdom and Israel. Saudi Arabia has conditioned the normalization process on the existence of a clear plan for the establishment of a Palestinian state.
The anticipated visit coincided with a Saudi announcement of plans to invest 600 billion dollars in projects in the United States and sign major economic agreements, some of which have not yet been fully implemented. There are also private financial interests linking the Trump administration and his family with Saudi Arabia, including real estate projects and a large investment fund managed by his son-in-law Jared Kushner with significant Saudi investments.
The visit is seen as an American attempt to strengthen the alliance with Saudi Arabia and conclude agreements that ensure the security of the Gulf and deepen military cooperation, following the reduction in tension resulting from the recent Gaza war and the start of the ceasefire implementation.
