Khaberni - Bloomberg reported that top German businessmen are ignoring the fact that the German economy's dependence on China is increasing, which could lead to an economic disaster in the future.
The agency wrote that "German businessmen have noticed warning signs that their dependence on China threatens an economic disaster. However, they simply disregard these signs."
It pointed out that the largest German exporters across various sectors are ignoring government calls and investing billions of dollars in new projects that increase their fortunes tied to the second largest economy in the world.
It confirmed that the German authorities are hesitant to intervene in foreign investment decisions, and do not make significant efforts to change business behavior.
It is noted that the German Economic Research Council has confirmed that the German economy remains stagnant and lagging behind other leading European countries. According to researchers, data indicates that the German economy suffers from economic and structural problems, including high energy prices and weak purchasing activity.
Germany has been experiencing an economic recession for three consecutive years, due to a variety of reasons, including high energy prices resulting from the cutoff of gas supplies from Russia.
