Khaberni - The board of commissioners of the Independent Election Commission has decided that the merger procedures of the (Jordanian Ansar Party) into the (Nama' Party) under the name (Nama' Party) are correct.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette; the procedures are "consistent with the merger provisions stated in Article (32) of the Political Parties Law No. (7) for the year 2022 and Article No. (10) of the Executive Instructions for the Establishment of Political Parties and the Follow-up of their Affairs for the year 2024 and its amendments".

The Commission added that the Nama' Party is considered the legal and actual successor to the Jordanian Ansar Party), and all rights belonging to it are transferred to it, and it assumes the obligations incurred by it under Article (32/d) of the Political Parties Law.

The Commission also decided that the Jordanian Ansar Party is to be considered legally dissolved under Article (32/d) of the Political Parties Law.
