Khaberni - The Lebanese Internal Security Forces arrested a father on charges of sexual and verbal harassment and domestic violence against his four children.
The arrest followed a complaint made by the siblings, three females one of whom is a minor and one male, and the investigation, which was conducted in the presence of a juvenile delegate, revealed that these violations had continued from the victims' childhood to the present.
A patrol from the Office of Combating Trafficking in Persons and Protection of Morals managed to arrest the father, executing the legal procedures against him based on an order from the competent judiciary.
The Directorate statement mentioned, "On 2025-11-04, a patrol from the office succeeded in arresting the father, a Lebanese born in 1975," noting that "the legal action was taken against him based on a reference from the competent judiciary.".
The Directorate stressed that "protecting our children and the safety of our community is a responsibility that cannot be taken lightly, and silence or inaction in the face of any assault paves the way for the offender to continue his actions without deterrence."
It urged all citizens to "immediately report any harassment, to stop the crime at its inception and to protect our children from any potential danger. Today's silence might cause deeper wounds and exacerbate the crime tomorrow, and reporting is the first line of defense against any violation."
