Syrian media Jordan refuses to open special crossings with Sweida

Khaberni - A Jordanian source confirmed to Syria TV that Jordan renews its categorical refusal to open any special crossings with Sweida governorate in southern Syria, emphasizing the necessity for all parties to adhere to solutions that preserve the unity and sovereignty of the Syrian state.
The source clarified that the road map for Sweida should lead to the return of the Syrian government to the governorate, and the exclusive arming of the state, as part of efforts to resolve security situations and enhance stability in southern Syria.
The source mentioned that a delegation from Sweida is visiting Jordan today to discuss the details of the road map and exchange views on mechanisms for its implementation on the ground, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire in the governorate.

Syrian media reported that militants in the western countryside of Sweida continued to breach the ceasefire agreement for the third consecutive day by targeting service facilities and security points in the towns of Al Mazra'a and Al Majdal, amidst accusations from the director of internal security in the governorate against the prominent Druze clergyman Hakmat Al-Hajri of supporting armed groups belonging to the "National Guard Council".

Syrian officials confirmed that these breaches hinder the efforts to return displaced people to Sweida and exacerbate the security tension in the region.
