Khaberni - "Ciel Dubai Marina" hotel in Dubai officially welcomed its first guests after being recognized as the tallest hotel in the world with a height of 377 meters.
"Ciel Dubai Marina" surpassed the previous record held by "Geovora" hotel, also located in Dubai, by 21 meters, according to "The National" UAE newspaper.
This confirms Dubai's global leadership in this sector as it hosts 8 of the top 10 tallest hotels in the world, including the uniquely designed Burj Al Arab shaped like a sail.
The hotel, which cost 2 billion Dirhams and consists of 82 floors with 1004 rooms, began accepting bookings for actual stays starting from November 15, with luxury room prices starting from 2,328 UAE Dirhams per night.
The management of this massive edifice is overseen by The First Group Hospitality under the Vignette Collection brand of the global IHG group, expressing their pride in this achievement which redefines the concepts of upscale hospitality and enhances Dubai’s position as a leading tourism and business destination.
The hotel's distinction is not only its height; it is expected to set new global records including the highest infinity pool and the highest club in the world once it receives official accreditation from Guinness World Records.
This will be part of the facilities of the luxurious Asian restaurant "Tattu Dubai," which will occupy three floors in the building and offer a unique dining experience inspired by Chinese and Japanese cultures, alongside a diverse array of other amenities including seven restaurants, a luxury spa, and an advanced gym, making it a comprehensive destination fitting its location in the heart of Dubai Marina.
