Khaberni - The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, on Sunday, revealed its digitization of 80% of government services, achieving the goal announced previously concerning its aim to digitize 80% of the services by the end of the current year.
The ministry had previously announced that it would digitize 100% of government services during the current year, but later reprioritized and confirmed that it would digitize 80% by 2025, and in the year 2026, the percentage will reach 100%.
The ministry added that 80% of government services have been digitized, which corresponds to 1920 services out of a targeted 2400 services for digitization.
The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat, had earlier confirmed that the goals and indicators of the strategic plan for the ministry for the years 2024-2028 aim in its vision towards a sustainable digital economy and a supportive environment for entrepreneurship.
Samirat mentioned that the goals and indicators of the plan focus on managing digital transformation, delivering priority government services in innovative ways within comprehensive and secure frameworks, and developing and building a secure and reliable digital government system.
