Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation - Jordan Valley Authority stated that the long-term annual average of rainfall increased until the morning of Sunday, 16/11/2025, to 4% of the long-term average amounting to about 8.1 billion cubic meters annually. The volumes of water from the rainfall that entered the dams during the weather depression from Thursday evening until Sunday morning reached 1.8 million cubic meters, with the majority recorded in Wala Dam (400,000 cubic meters), raising its total storage to (5.3%) of its full storage capacity of 25 million cubic meters. Meanwhile, the rest of the volumes were distributed among various dams in varying amounts, except for Unity Dam, which did not record any entries, making the total storage in the main dams 43 million cubic meters, a total storage percentage of 15% of their storage capacity of 288.128 million m3, compared to 57 million cubic meters at a storage percentage of 20%.
The ministry also activated emergency plans during the weather depression and dealt with 1804 complaints, the majority of which were complaints about sewage manhole floods.
