Tunisian Player Criticizes Team Atmosphere Before Brazil Match

Khaberni - Hannibal Mejbri, the Tunisian national team star and Burnley player, directed public criticisms regarding the conditions surrounding the team before their upcoming friendly match against Brazil.

Mejbri stated to journalists after Tunisia's match against Jordan at Rades Stadium on Friday: "There are many things surrounding the team that the public is not aware of."

He added: "We all work together and give everything we have, but it's not easy, the circumstances are very complicated."

The player did not specify the nature of the circumstances but his criticism was likely directed at the conditions of the team's training sessions and the procedures for the delegation's transfer to France to face Brazil amid a visa crisis for players not active in European leagues.

Mejbri continued: "We will play against Brazil, but you know how we are going to France. We know the fault is not with the football federation, but as players, we remain united, we know the situation and do not want to complain."

Tunisia won its friendly match against Jordan 3-2 on Friday and had tied against Mauritania 1-1 before facing Brazil on November 18th at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille, France.

Tunisia is preparing to participate in the Arab Cup in Qatar and the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. They had already secured their qualification to the 2026 World Cup in America, Canada, and Mexico.
