Khaberni - Artist Ahmed Saad was involved in a car accident while heading to Ain Sokhna to perform at a concert, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital for immediate examinations of the back area after the airbags were deployed inside the car.
His brother, artist Amro Saad, revealed his medical condition in the hospital, explaining that the doctors are conducting comprehensive tests and scans to ensure his condition is stable, noting that the current situation is reassuring according to preliminary evaluations.
In a post on his Facebook account, Amro Saad apologized for not being able to communicate with the stars and media personnel who are trying to check on his brother’s condition, affirming that he will improve after the recent "difficult" car accident he experienced.
Aliya Basyouni, the artist's wife, stated in media remarks that the accident occurred during normal driving without speeding after participating in a wedding in Cairo, and that his transfer to the hospital was a precautionary measure until further necessary examinations are completed.
She expected his release soon after full reassurance about his condition.
On another note, prior to the accident, Ahmed Saad had performed his third concert in London as part of his European tour, amid a significant turnout from the Arab diaspora and his fans. The evening featured advanced technical setups in sound, lighting, and effects.
The audience warmly welcomed the artist upon ascending the stage, while they interacted with him as he presented a wide range of his famous works.
