Khaberni - The spokesperson for Greater Amman Municipality, Nasser Al-Rahmana, affirmed that the municipality has raised the emergency level to "moderate" to deal with the unstable weather condition affecting the kingdom.
Al-Rahmana reassured citizens today, Saturday, that "all tunnels, roads, and bridges are passable and there are no significant issues," except for "a minor note in Basmann area" which has been dealt with.
He emphasized that what are known as "hot spots" in the capital, known for gathering rainwater, "currently do not exist."
He explained: "For more than four years, these areas have been dealt with radical, not temporary solutions... in the seventh area, in Wadi Al Tay, in Wadi Al Qamar, in Khreibet Al Souq, in Shafa Badran."
Al-Rahmana excluded the downtown area, which he stated was "solved by only 50%", attributing the reason to "historical sites" that prevented completing the radical solutions, confirming that the municipality is "heavily present" there during depressions.
