Khaberni - The weather expert at the "Arab Weather" center, Jamal Al-Mousa, informed the "Royaa" news bulletin that the kingdom is affected by a state of atmospheric instability resulting from the difference in temperatures between the ground's surface and above.
Al-Mousa confirmed that as a result of the influx of cold air, a weather depression classified as "moderate" will enter the kingdom on Saturday.
He noted that the depression is normal and does not include snowfall, and the expected rainfall amounts range from 15 to 40 mm, with rain occurring at certain times.
The expert explained that the weather depression leads to the entry of a relatively cold and humid air mass into Jordan, along with a drop in temperatures.
The minimum temperatures will be around 8 degrees Celsius, and the maximum around 14 degrees Celsius, confirming that the duration of the depression's effects "is not long".
The current prevailing weather features cumulus clouds accompanied by rain, lightning, and thunder, indicating that their intensity varies from area to area and from one period to another.
Al-Mousa noted that the weather will be cold tonight with temperatures below average until Sunday noon, after which the weather will stabilize on Monday and temperatures will gradually rise.
He explained that the weather calls for heating homes and wearing warm clothing.
Al-Mousa also warned of possible slips on the streets due to rain, urging everyone to be extremely cautious.
