Skin Cosmetic Procedures in Young Women Shocking Stories and Painful Consequences

Khaberni - In recent years, there has been an unprecedented rise in facial cosmetic procedures among young women, where a wide demographic has resorted to face lifting and sculpting operations to achieve the perfect youthful look.
Unjustified spread

These procedures have become distinctly and unjustifiably widespread on social media platforms, with daily videos documenting the painful recovery stages and the swelling and bruising that follow the surgery immediately.

Many of these young women undergo multiple procedures such as eyebrow lifting, mid-face lifting, and sometimes jaw and neck lifting, just to rid themselves of any slight imperfections or to reshape their features in a way that gains admiration.

Many affected women travel to countries like Turkey and South Korea, where these countries offer less expensive cosmetic procedures with lighter regulatory restrictions compared to Western countries.

Risks After Surgery

Despite the noticeable improvement in the skin's appearance after surgery, the risks remain significant, including infection, hair loss around the scalp line, and sometimes nerve damage or blood accumulation under the skin, which can lead to permanent complications.

According to the "Daily Mail," cosmetic experts confirm that these operations can accelerate the signs of aging later on if performed early, especially when future surgeries or adjustments are needed.

Reasons for Resorting to These Procedures

Medical reports affirm that the reason behind young women opting for these operations is partly due to their lifestyle itself, from excessive sun exposure and unhealthy nutrition to lack of sleep, in addition to the psychological stress resulting from the ideal images on platforms like "TikTok" and "Instagram," where young women target beauty standards that are hard to achieve naturally.

Cosmetic doctors also pointed out that the percentage of operations among women in their twenties and thirties has seen a clear increase over the past year, raising questions about the impact of this trend on physical and mental health in the long term.

On the other hand, some experts believe that young skin offers the advantage of quick recovery and the ability to endure fewer scars and stress on the tissues, yet the warnings focus on the necessity of a precise psychological evaluation before undergoing surgery.

Psychological research calls for greater awareness of the risks of these early practices, warning against social pressures that link a woman's value solely to her external appearance.

In this context, the question remains: How will these cosmetic changes affect the lives of these women after twenty or thirty years?
