Khaberni - The number of payment transactions made through the "E-Fawateercom" system during the first ten months of the year 2025 reached about 61.88 million transactions, with a total value reaching 12.99 billion Jordanian Dinars.

According to a report issued by the Jordanian Company for Payment and Clearing Systems (JoPACC), and monitored by "Al Mamlaka", the number of users of "E-Fawateercom" in October slightly increased by 1.1%, reaching 4.95 million users, compared to 4.9 million users in September, and 4.85 million users in August.

The report revealed that, out of the total 5 million users, there are 4.9 million current users accounting for 98.9%, and 55.7 thousand new users accounting for 1.1%.

It added that the number of billers on "E-Fawateercom" reached 665, while the number of available services reached 2,272.

In October, the system recorded 6.69 million transactions, an increase of 3.7% compared to September, which recorded 6.45 million transactions, versus 6.64 million transactions in August.

The report indicated that the telecommunications category topped the list of transactions with 2.06 million transactions, followed by the water and electricity category with 1.8 million transactions, then government services with 1.5 million transactions, payment service providers and wallet companies with 579 thousand transactions, financing and financial services with 332 thousand transactions, education with 139 thousand transactions, transportation and travel with 63 thousand transactions, commerce and services with 63 thousand transactions, unions and organizations with 36 thousand transactions, and finally gas and energy with 34 thousand transactions.

The report also showed that digital payments accounted for the majority of the number of transactions in October, reaching 5.36 million transactions, accounting for 80%, versus 1.34 million cash transactions, representing 20%.

The total value of transactions through "E-Fawateercom" in October increased to 1.42 billion Dinars, with an increase rate of 1.3% compared to September, which totaled 1.4 billion Dinars, while it was 1.28 billion Dinars in August.

The report highlighted that government services were at the forefront of payments by value in October, amounting to 788 million Dinars, followed by payment service providers and wallet companies with 354 million Dinars, then water and electricity with 80 million Dinars, followed by financing and financial services with 58 million Dinars, education with 41 million Dinars, telecommunications with 34 million Dinars, banks with 18 million Dinars, followed by commerce and services with 15 million Dinars, then gas and energy with 14 million Dinars, and finally transportation and travel with 6 million Dinars.

In terms of payment method, the value of digital payments in October amounted to 1.06 billion Dinars, accounting for 75.1%, versus 352 million Dinars for cash payments, accounting for 24.9%.

According to the report, the average value of a single transaction via "E-Fawateercom" in October decreased to 212 Dinars, compared to 217 Dinars in September, and 192 Dinars in August.
