Khaberni - Gaza Municipality spokesman, Husni Muhanna, on Friday, stated that 93% of the tents for displaced people have become completely tattered and dilapidated, indicating that the humanitarian conditions in the sector are extremely difficult.
Muhanna added that Gaza Municipality needs a fleet of heavy and specialized machinery to deal with 25 million tons of rubble accumulated in Gaza City.
He explained that after the war, the municipality was left with only one bulldozer, while the occupation destroyed more than 134 vehicles and pieces of equipment belonging to the municipality, which had been used to provide essential services in the sector.
