Khaberni - The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Friday that a blast was heard in the Mezzeh area of the capital Damascus, and its nature is being verified, while it was mentioned that a woman was injured by the explosion.
The Syrian "Al-Ikhbariya" channel quoted a security source stating that the explosion resulted from an "attack carried out by unknown assailants targeting a home in the area," confirming that security forces have initiated their investigations to uncover the details of the incident and pursue the perpetrators.
Local media reported that there is heavy security deployment in the Mezzeh neighborhood of Damascus following the sound of an explosion, and ambulances are rushing to the area.
