Khaberni - King Abdullah II expressed his condolences for the death of the Chairman of the Waqf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites in Jerusalem, the honorable Sheikh Abdul Azim Salhab, may God have mercy on him, in a telegram sent to Sheikh "Mohammad Azzam" Al-Khatib Al-Tamimi, the Deputy Chairman of the Council.
In the telegram, the King expressed his sincerest condolences and sympathy for this painful loss, praising the deceased's efforts throughout his distinguished career filled with knowledge and work in serving the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the holy endowments of Jerusalem, the Sharia judiciary, and education in the Holy City, and asking Almighty God to envelop him in His vast mercy and to grant him paradise.
The King also sent a similar telegram to the family of the deceased.
