Khaberni - Egyptian security investigations have uncovered shocking details in the murder of a child in the city of Ismailia by his peer in a terrifying manner, after it was found that the killer employed artificial intelligence technology in executing his crime and planning to dispose of the body.
The 13-year-old suspect confessed to killing his peer inside his apartment using a "hammer" and a knife, then dismembering the body with an electric tool in a manner reminiscent of a foreign film, before cooking and consuming part of the victim's flesh.
Media reports indicated that the child perpetrator was obsessed with the internet, and that he used artificial intelligence programs to research methods of killing and disposing of bodies.
During the crime reenactment, the prosecutor was surprised by being given a calculator that later turned out to belong to the victim himself, a behavior the investigators described as indicating "emotional coldness and complete detachment from humanity."
The investigations clarified that the perpetrator meticulously planned his crime, luring his peer to his home on the pretext of returning his stolen phone, buying crime tools along the way, including gloves, plastic bags, and a saw borrowed from someone, and after committing his crime, he dismembered the body into six parts in an attempt to hide the evidence.
The investigations also revealed that the perpetrator's father attempted to conceal the crime scene by wiping the blood and cleaning the carpets, and giving his son money to buy more bags to transport the body, leading the prosecution to formally charge him with participating in hiding the crime.
Informed sources confirmed that the investigations are still ongoing to determine the exact role of everyone who had knowledge of the incident, while the child suspect confessed that his motive behind committing the crime was "the pursuit of fame and achieving a trend".
The public prosecution in Ismailia has decided to renew the detention of the accused's father for 15 days pending investigation, with the continuation of placing the perpetrator in a care home for a similar period, until the investigations are completed and all circumstances of the gruesome crime are revealed.
