Khaberni - A man with a criminal record in the state of Tennessee committed a heinous act by burning a woman alive, according to "Peoples" magazine, citing a police statement.
Christopher Midola (39 years old) confessed to burning Angela Palacio (58 years old) alive, as the victim suffered burns covering almost her entire body and was urgently airlifted to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save her.
Before her death, she managed to tell the police officers: "Chris did this."
The victim's neighbor, Steve Ellis, reported that he saw Palacio trying to get out of her minivan after Midola set it on fire and locked the door. Then, the perpetrator attempted to flee, but Ellis chased him down and held him at gunpoint until the police arrived.
While waiting for the police to arrive, Midola was repeating disturbing phrases: "I had to do this", "She was poisoning the world", "She is a devil", and "I am Jesus".
The investigations revealed that the man had a lengthy criminal record dating back to 2005, including crimes of assault, domestic violence, and "reckless endangerment".
