Khaberni - Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, made direct statements regarding his stance on Syrian President Ahmad al-Shar'.
Netanyahu emphasized that his interest is focused on the security trajectory of Syria and the extent of its new president's drive towards normalization and calm.
Netanyahu stated, "What concerns me about Ahmad al-Shar' is what happens on the ground in Syria, and whether it will become peaceful."
In confirmation of this security priority, Netanyahu clarified, "What concerns me is whether Ahmad al-Shar' will work with me to achieve a demilitarized zone in southwestern Syria."
