Khaberni - The effect of the atmospheric instability condition has begun in the northern regions of the kingdom, accompanied by rainfall ranging from light to moderate and heavy, according to the meteorological administration.
The acting Director-General of the Meteorological Administration, Abdel Munim Al-Qaraleh, said that the northern regions have begun to be affected by the moist air mass, which is accompanied by an unstable weather condition and intermittent rainfalls, sometimes accompanied by hailstones, as well as "light" thunderstorms.
Al-Qaraleh confirmed that the precipitation will cover most areas of the western strip of the kingdom, as an extension of the unstable weather condition that continues until Sunday morning.
He noted that the temperatures will drop by 5 degrees below the daily average, explaining that it is below its averages.
The meteorological administration warns of sometimes reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in the desert areas, and the possibility of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, particularly in the west of the kingdom, as well as reduced horizontal visibility in the late-night hours due to fog over the mountainous highlands and parts of the plains.
