Khaberni - Artist Essaad Younis announced, during a meeting on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the "Cairo International Film Festival", a surprise about the artist Adel Imam, confirming his official retirement from the arts, after his children had talked in the past period about him staying away without an official retirement announcement.
Essaad said, "I really wished that Mr. Adel Imam would come on my show, but unfortunately he announced that he won’t appear in any interviews at all, nor will he produce any more artistic works." She also expressed her great longing for the esteemed artist Abla Kamel, who chose to stay away from the arts in complete silence, saying: "I wish Abla Kamel and Inaam Salousa would come on my show, but they refuse; however, I will keep trying with them."

The series "Valentino" is the last artistic work of Adel Imam, which was aired in 2020, and achieved great popular success in the Arab world. The series revolves around "Nour Abdel Hamid," famously known as "Valentino" and his wife "Afaf" who own a chain of schools called "Valentino Schools". Due to the wife’s strength and control over matters, many conflicts arise between them throughout the series, starting an adventure full of surprises.
Adel Imam starred in the "Valentino" series alongside a number of stars, most notably: the late artist Dalal Abdel Aziz, Hoda El Mufti, Hamdy Al-Mirghani, Mohamed El Kilany, Tarek El Ebiary, and it was written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Rami Imam.
