Khaberni - The rain prayer was held this Thursday morning in both Qatar and Saudi Arabia, seeking mercy and relief from Allah after a drought.
The State of Qatar witnessed extensive participation at the highest levels, with the country's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, performing the rain prayer with the congregation at Lusail Mosque, emphasizing adherence to the prophetic tradition and seeking relief from Allah for rainfall.
The prayer also saw the participation of several high-profile individuals, including Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the personal representative of the Emir, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani, along with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of ministers and senior officials.
On the Saudi side, in compliance with King Salman bin Abdulaziz's directive to hold the prayer across the kingdom, the Governor of Sabya, Ahmed Abukarn, performed the rain prayer with the congregation at Al Rajhi Mosque in the province.
