Bombing in Beit Lahia Khan Yunis and Demolition Operations in AlTuffah District

Khaberni - Palestinian sources reported that the town of Beit Lahia and the cities of Gaza and Khan Yunis were subjected to Israeli raids this Thursday morning, and added that the occupation army carried out a demolition operation for buildings in the Al-Tuffah district east of Gaza City.

Palestinian media sources reported that an Israeli raid targeted, early today, the vicinity of Ahmed Al-Shuqeiri School in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, Israeli forces have committed widespread violations in several areas of the Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 242 Palestinians and injuring hundreds of others.

The violations include the bombing of areas from which the occupation forces withdrew under the ceasefire agreement, and the demolition of residential buildings.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera's correspondent said the search for bodies of Israeli prisoners east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City ended to be resumed on Thursday.

A joint operation between a team from the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Al-Qassam Brigades, supported by engineering vehicles, began this morning to search for the body of an Israeli prisoner within the zero zone in the Zeitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Humanitarian Response and Needs
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has confirmed that the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip is accelerating, despite the numerous constraints that are still in place.

The office emphasized in a statement the necessity of lifting these obstacles so that the scale of the response can be expanded as quickly as possible to meet all the needs in Gaza.

The statement added: "The Zikim crossing north of Gaza will be reopened for humanitarian shipments," clarifying that in recent weeks, the United Nations repaired the road leading to the crossing inside Gaza in preparation for its reopening.

It pointed out that the crossing has been closed for two months, as no supplies have entered Gaza directly from the north, meanwhile, partners warn that due to ongoing delays in customs clearance and other barriers affecting the distribution of food parcels, partners are forced to adjust the quantity to utilize available stock.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 69,000 martyrs, and more than 170,000 wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to extensive destruction affecting 90% of the civilian infrastructure in the afflicted sector.
